About The Artist

Layla currently lives in Toronto, Canada.  She is an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music, and studied Illustration and Life Drawing at George Brown University.
 

An avid reader and storyteller, Layla was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder more than ten years ago, and her work often focuses on mental health and relationships, as told through the kinds of stories and allegories that have spoken to us for millennia.
